In patriotic and military organizations the flags are known as "color" and the individuals who present them are the "color guard".  The members of the color guard who carry a flag are called "color bearers" and those who do not carry a flag are called "escorts".  The flag ceremony at troop activities shall be conducted as described below.  The commands are issued by one of the escorts.
